Kings of Blues, a legendary band in the realm of blues music, was formed in the vibrant city of New Orleans in 1998. The band was the brainchild of lead guitarist and vocalist Jack “Lightning Fingers” Thompson, who was joined by bassist Marcus “Groove” Williams, drummer Elijah “Thundersticks” Jones, and keyboardist Henry “Ivory” Smith. Each member brought a unique style and background to the band, blending traditional blues with elements of jazz, soul, and rock.
